It really depends on your planning process. It can vary from 2 months to 1 year +. Flowers are required to be ordered from the Wholesalers at least four weeks before the wedding, more if they are a rare or very specific flower. The bookings are only confirmed once a 10% non-refundable deposit has been received.
Definitely! I always like to meet you in person before you make the decision to go ahead with us. Once initial contact is made by you, I can offer a brief quotation based on the information you have supplied. I offer one complimentary consultation before you make the decision to book with me. The consultation usually takes around 1-2 hours. In the consultation, we will go through everything you want to know about your wedding/event flowers. We will discuss your inspirations, ideas and expectation about your wedding/event. If you are not available for face-to-face meeting, we can talk on the phone or Skype. A proposal will be supplied to you by me at the consultation to assist you in making the decision to book.
Basic information such as wedding/event location, date & time. If it is a wedding, it is good to know the number of bridesmaids and groomsmen, the number of the family members that needs corsages or buttonholes, the number of the guest tables.
Inspiration photos for your wedding or event or always good to have and gives me a good idea of how to quote and suggest availability, etc.
I ask for a 10% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. You can still make changes after paying the deposit. The remaining balance is due two weeks before your wedding date where no changes are allowed.
I work closely with my wedding and event clients and pride myself in offering something unique to each one. I appreciate each client's inspiration and I work really hard to meet their expectations. Therefore, we don't have a package that is suitable for everyone.
I don’t have a minimal spending at the moment because I always like to talk to you first and work something out together. I also believe everyone deserves beautiful fresh flowers at their wedding or event no matter how big or small.
here are a lot of designing, planning and caring behind your wedding and event flowers. A lot of effort is put in choosing the best flowers from the market and designing the arrangements for you. I also coordinate with vendors to make sure your flower logistics goes smoothly. It it very different from buying a bunch of flowers at your local supermarket.
Absolutely! Please ask families and friends to take them home so you and they can enjoy them longer. If the vases have been hired from me, I do ask that the vases are kept together for their return.
If they are in season and available in the week of your wedding or event, of course! As we are working with Mother Nature, you need to be flexible with the flower options and trust us with substitutions if what you want is not available.
I use a mix of premium and seasonal flowers for all our arrangements to ensure the quality and achieve certain looks. I try my best to source the best flowers for you. My suppliers are amazing and it is great to know that they source majority of their flowers from flower growers in the South East Queensland region. As a general rule, I do not use imported flowers unless it is absolutely necessary.
I also sometimes use dry flowers to add more texture if necessary.
When placing a general order, I will need to know a few things. The occasion they are being bought for, flower preference - native, seasonal or mixed, colour preference, wrapped or in a vase, budget, recipient details and delivery details. From this information I will be able to create a gorgeous bunch of flowers suitable.
